My name is Ifeoma Adaji. I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan campus. I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Saskatchewan under the supervision of Prof. Julita Vassileva as part of the MADMUC lab. I earned my Master's degree from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, UK.

My research is in the general area of User Modeling. In particular, I am interested in the design and development of technologies such as games and apps that influence positive behaviour change in people. I am also interested in understanding and predicting the behaviour of social media users using user generated data. Furthermore, I am interested in the role of trust and ethics in the development and use of persuasive technologies and social media.

I am open to collaborations with industry and academia. I am also available for for guest speaker and panel discussion roles at conferences and workshops.
